INTER/MEDIA ADVERTISING NAMES AMY HANNO TO HEAD UP MEDIAPOINT NETWORK®, COMPANY?fS PER INQUIRY AD DIVISION ENCINO, CA, Feb. 1, 2004 – With business heating up in the per-inquiry sector of the ad business, Inter/Media Advertising has recruited noted specialist Amy Hanno as Vice President, Affiliate Sales at Mediapoint Network®, the company's per-inquiry division. Hanno will also head up Inter/Media's new Minneapolis office. "Our per inquiry business has been growing substantially because it's a win-win for the advertiser and the media," said Inter/Media President Robert Yallen. "We find that many of our larger advertisers—some of which are well known brands—are excited about what we have been able to generate on a per-inquiry basis. Therefore, we wanted to secure a real top pro in this area to continue to drive our growth. Amy Hanno has the experience and the commitment to this sector of the ad business." Per-inquiry advertising is a profit-sharing self-liquidating arrangement where the media organization agrees to run direct response spots in remnant time at no cost to the advertiser. The media venue receives a fixed cost-per-lead or sale-generated portion of the revenue. Hanno comes to Inter/Media from Cornerstone Media Group in Minneapolis, where she was marketing manager. She joined that firm in May 2001 as an account manager, overseeing cable systems and TV broadcast stations airing per-inquiry spots and infomercials, and was subsequently prompted to client services manager. In August 2003, she was named Marketing Manager. Hanno was responsible for the analysis and scheduling of three major market cable systems running direct response channels with the Cornerstone Digital Network, and servicing many of the company's clients. Hanno graduated from Minnesota State University of Moorhead where she began her advertising career at a Fox Affiliate in Fargo, ND as the national sales assistant. She worked with the sales manager in fulfilling advertising contracts along with the update of schedule changes to ensure the correct programs/shows were running for the direct response clients. Hanno then moved to Minneapolis to pursue her career at Marketing Architects, a direct response radio company, as a media assistant to the media coordinator. After three months, she took on the responsibility of media buyer for their direct response clients in the areas of radio and television. She negotiated rates in major markets throughout the United States, Canada, Europe, and Australia. "I'm a staunch advocate of per-inquiry advertising and Inter/Media is a true leader in this field," said Hanno. "Inter/Media is really committed to growing this part of its business and introducing per-inquiry to a much larger segment of the marketplace. I cannot have joined a more astute and visionary company that understands the true potential of per-inquiry advertising." About Inter/Media Advertising:
