Business Development Executive |
- Responsible for directing the business development efforts for the Agency and it's units with Group of Companies.
- Plans and directs all aspects of an organization's business development objectives and initiatives.
- Relies on demonstrable client rolodex plus extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Must demonstrate sales process, currently and historic industry client and agency contacts.
- Responsibilities include initiating proposals, negotiating deal and contract points and closing profitable business.
- Ability to assess new markets, develop profitable new initiatives, and analysis of business opportunities are key to closing new business.
- Must have a track record of negotiation training and fast close sales cycle performance.
- High prospect call volume and follow up skills are expected and required.
- Excellent time management skills are fundamental.
- Successful contact management system experience a must.
- Superior demonstrable track record of client and cross departmental communication skills are essential.
- Reports to Group of Companies President and COO.

Position: DRTV Media Buyer
Qualified individual will be aggressive, persistent, confident, detail-oriented, upbeat, and a “people-person.” Must have minimum of 2-3 years short form DRTV National Cable buying experience. Local Broadcast, Network, Syndication and long form buying experience is a plus+++. College degree preferred.
Responsibilities Include:
• Buy-manage campaigns and optimize accordingly on an ongoing basis
• Negotiate media rates for short form direct response.
• Secure bonus weight and rate reductions whenever possible to ensure the best possible results
• Resolve invoice discrepancies in a timely manner
• Place all media buys to specific client budgets and guidelines
• Obtain signed confirmations on all orders
• Maintain monthly/weekly budgets and clearance levels to client goal
• Secure the best possible (available) rate and inventory to achieve optimal results
• React and respond to the results accordingly and promptly

Experience: 8-10 years in agency client service - Direct Response experience a must.
Secondary/Technical school experience helpful.
Must have supervisory experience, advanced Powerpoint and Excel skills a must.
Excellent analytical skills necessary.
Salary commensurate with experience. |
Ideal candidate will work with Media department and stations (comfortable with making phone calls).
Candidates must be professional, detail-oriented, team motivated and able to multi-task.
PC experience required, knowledge in excel would be helpful. |
Experience: Minimum 3 years planning experience in a general media or direct response advertising agency.
Must be comfortable working in a fast paced environment using a combination of both general media and direct response disciplines
Understanding of local and national broadcast, print, out of home helpful.
Proficiency in excel a must.
